However, as was said earlier, it is very common for people to have different impressions and meanings for mindfulness. It’s often misunderstood and therefore misapplied.

Perhaps, most often we think mindfulness means to be perfectly calm and be free of distractions, worries or things that upset up. We often think we should feel a certain way during practice – relaxed, happy or even in a different zone. Very often, we think it should take away our stress, and we can be discouraged if that doesn’t happen.
