Open Attention 50

Open Awareness extends the same qualities of attention to whatever arises as it arises in the field of awareness.

For example, we can notice that we perceive sounds, images, bodily sensations, We notice that thoughts are arising. We also notice the quality of our attention (bright, dull, steady, scattered, etc.)

In this open-awareness practice, all ‘seeing’ and ‘noticing’ is done in a compassionate, non-reactive and open-hearted way, without preference for one thing or another.
