What Mindfulness is and what it isn’t 79
We continue our exploration of what mindfulness is by examining what it isn’t.
This activity can be done in small groups, in pairs or as a whole class activity. Students fill out the workbook page by making lists of things people their age do mindfully or mindlessly.
Note that the teacher does not ask students for personal information (e.g. “what do you do?”) but rather continually stresses commonality in all the experiences of the program.
This exercise is then discussed with the group using questions for discussion in the manual.
